David Grant is the founder of Global Mind Emancipation Health and Social Work Services, a psychotherapy practice providing a wide range of mental health services including individual, couples and family psychotherapy, reports and biopsychosocial assessments for refugee claims, and legal social work sentencing reports for Black inmates. He is also a PhD Candidate in Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo focusing on evaluating current suicide risk assessments, estimating the prevalence of suicidality, and depression, and the risk and protective factors associated with these mental phenomena for young African and African Caribbean populations in Canada and abroad.
